Work in Progress

I`ve had this quilt top made for over 6 months and cannot decide how I want to quilt it. Maybe horizontal straight lines, 1/2 inch apart. Not sure...so I`ve just had it folded up on my shelf, waiting for inspiration. I love the bright colors in it, and how the red pops. So, now that I`m listing it as a work in progress and linking it over to the Freshly Pieced blog, I`ll be forced to do something with it!

Very pretty! Reminds me of Christmas. What do you think about horizontal lines, but in a wave for the quilting? Just a suggestion :o)

Oh, what a pretty top! I immediately thought of the same thing Carla suggested: Wavy line quilting! If you have a decorative stitch on your machine that's a wavy line, just set it to a longer stitch length and set the width as high as it can go. Then you move the quilt straight, the machine does the rest! It's one of my favorite ways to quilt things!

Thanks for linking up to WIP Wednesday. : )

Love your blog. I am a quilter/scrapbooker, too! My biggest problem is that my 2 bedroom house just isn't big enough for all my projects. Actually I could use a warehouse! Of course then I would need a 36 hour day, eight days a week. Everyone knows I craft and I have a problem saying no. Your quilt is very pretty and I look forward to checking your site when you update.
